You can find peace.
Online therapy for anxiety/OCD across Florida and North Carolina.
Are you exhausted by the constant stream of thoughts in your mind?
You can regain control of your mind.
You know your thoughts don’t make sense. Maybe you’re even ashamed of the thoughts you have. I want you to know that you aren’t your thoughts. And you can learn new ways to think that don’t cause you to feel anxiety or fear.
OCD isn't always about contamination or visible rituals. It can show up as persistent doubt, intrusive thoughts, checking, reassurance-seeking, rumination, or feeling like you need to be completely certain before you can move forward.
You may find yourself:
Replaying conversations or decisions
Questioning your relationships or feelings
Seeking reassurance from others
Checking, researching, or mentally reviewing
Struggling with intrusive or unwanted thoughts
Feeling responsible for preventing something bad from happening
Needing things to feel "just right"
Spending hours trying to figure out what a thought or feeling means
Therapy for OCD is about changing your relationship with uncertainty.
I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT) to help you recognize the cycle that keeps OCD going and learn to respond differently to obsessive doubt—without continuing to perform compulsions to find certainty. I will incorporate EMDR when appropriate to help you process your experience of OCD.
You don't have to figure out whether your thoughts are true before you can move forward.
I’ll help through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to therapy comes from a place of acceptance and support: you’re already doing so many things right, you simply lack the skills to make the progress you need.
